HOLY LAND TOUR
Because we didn't make the quota of 20 people registered for the Holy Land Tour by Dec. 31, we were asked to merge with a group from West Virginia, and change the dates to March 1-10, 2010. I contacted each of the sixteen people who had registered, and there was complete agreement to merge and change dates. We are indeed blessed to be able to make this journey of a lifetime.
Those who have committed to go with us are: Steve and Donna Barnard and Charles Harris from lNew Salem Baptist Church of Tazewell; Joan Cosby and her sister, Ms. Russell; Clayton and Frances Dunsmore, DOM; Verlin Galyon from Sweetwater; Kojak Graes and Mark Prater from Harrogate, Don Williams from Blairs Creek; Robert Ziegler from Harrogate First; Travis Pressnell from Mount Zion; Keith, Debbie and Sue Hodge from Madisonville.
As of the date of this writing, there are two seats still available for this trip. If you have a current passport, and can pay the entire amount of the trip, we can try to get you on the trip with us. This will be first come, first served, and only as long as the airline has not filled those seats.
Please pray for our safety, health and well being. Pray also for our family members who are no going. Pray that God will be glorified among us, and that each will have an enjopyable journey.

UKRAINE PROJECTS FOR 2010
We have begun planning the Mission Trip to Ukraine for this year. The tentative dates are September 6-16, 2010. This trip will be very similar to those we have conducted in the past, mainly evangelism. We try to have teams of 3 people; a preacher, a singer and someone who will testitfy. We stay in the homes of those we work with in Ukraine. Each team will have an interpreter with them 24 hours a day. We have our meals in the homes and at some of the church services. We usually have two services per day, one in the morning and one at night.
We serve in the Khmelinski Oblast of Ukraine, usually in the are of Khmelinski City, Polonne, Shepetivka, Midanvilla, and Izyaslav. The cost per person will probably be about $2,500.00. This will cover airline tickets, transportation in Ukraine, food, housing, interpreters, insurance, Bibles and most other things. It does not cover souvenirs, personal items and food in the airports. Most people take another $300.00 with them to cover these items.
We have been asked to add some projects this year. The churches have requested that we help them with funds to purchase food for the needy people in their communities. $40.00 will purchase a box of food for a family. This is a good project for Sunday School Classes, WMU's, Children's projects, etc. We also have a new church that has been planted in the town of Sudylkiv that needs a place to meet. They have found a house that can be purchased for $7,000.00. We will be receivinig funds for these projects as well as those previously listed.
