Cumberland Gap Baptist Association

The Cumberland Gap Baptist Association is a group of cooperating Southern Baptist churches located primarily in Claiborne County, Tennessee, but also includes churches in Virginia and Ohio.  The Association was established in 1884 when several churches from the Northern Association and several from the Mulberry Gap Association met together to form the Cumberland Gap Association of Baptists.
                                                                                            
Dr. Ronnie Owens was called as Director of Missions to the Cumberland Gap Baptist Association effective December 1, 2011.  A graduate of Lincoln Memorial University, Harrogate; Union College, Barbourville, KY; Pensacola Christian College, FL; and Andersonville Theological Seminary, Camilla, GA; he has served as a pastor in Virginia, Kentucky, and Tennessee.  He is an evangelist and also founded Camp Jubilee and Conference Center and is co-founder of Harvest International Missions.
